How to Set Up Yodel AI Integration on Your HootBoard

Our Yodel AI integration automatically posts local events from Yodel’s AI-powered event calendar to your HootBoard as Hoots. This keeps your community up-to-date with what’s happening locally, effortlessly syncing real-time event data to engage your audience.

 

Follow these steps to set it up and start sharing local events with ease.

1. Log in to Your Account
   Start by signing in to your account.

2. Navigate to Your HootBoard

   From the My Boards page, goto your HootBoard dashboard.

3. Access Apps & Integrations

   In the admin panel, click on the Apps & Integrations option.

   

4. Explore Integrations and Services

   In the Apps & Integrations area, find the Integrations and Services tab. Click it to see all available integrations, including any you’ve already installed.

   

5. Select the Yodel AI Integration

   Use the search bar to locate the Yodel AI integration. Click on it to begin the setup process.

6. Enter Your Yodel Plugin ID

   Find your Yodel Plugin ID in your Yodel account under the Plug-In Manager section. Copy and paste this ID into the setup window to connect your Yodel account to your HootBoard.

   

7. Add to Collections

   Choose which collections you want the local events to be posted to as Hoots. Collections help organize your content for your audience. You can select existing collections or create new ones, like “local-happenings” or “community-events”.

8. Select a Hoot Background Color

   Pick a background color for the Hoots posted by this integration to match your board’s style or brand. You can choose a specific color for a consistent look or select the Random option for a variety of colors. We recommend the random option for a vibrant, dynamic feel!

9. Install the Integration

   Once you’ve configured your settings, click the Install Integration button to activate the Yodel AI integration.

   

10. Your Yodel AI Integration Is Active!

    Congratulations! Your integration is now live. Your HootBoard will automatically pull real-time event data from Yodel’s AI event calendar and post it as Hoots based on your settings. Expect new events to appear within 15 minutes of being published.
