Content on HootBoard can be accessed with security settings that can get pretty elaborate. The best way to understand these are by understanding the access levels. Below are the access levels on HootBoard as of writing this article.
Board Admins (Admins):
Admins have full access to all features including admin features. Typically the person creating the board is an admin by default. They can add other admins (recommended) to the board. Apart from creating the board Admins have following access and responsibilities
- Invite & manage members
- Customize the board look & feel
- Manage board security
- Manage hoots and hoot security
- Manage kiosks and digital signage screens
- Create and manage apps
- Post hoots
- Post comments
Members with Posting Access (Posters):
Posters are members on a HootBoard that have access to post your board and can view public or private hoots. Below is the full list of functionality that a poster has access to.

Members with Private Viewing Access (Private Viewers):
Private Viewers can see private or public hoots. They can't post to your board but can comment.
