You can set an expiration date on a Hoot. This is a good feature if you are promoting something that has a date when it ends. This means you won’t have to clean the Board with expired Hoots. Here’s how to do it.
Start by clicking the ‘Post Here’ button on your board.
This will bring the Hoot posting options. You can click any one of these that you choose. We’ll select ‘Link’ for demonstration.
After you fill out the Title and Description of the Hoot, you’ll notice a calendar with a clock on it. This is the ‘Add Expiry Date’ function. Click on that to bring up the expiration date options.
Here, you will see the option of when you’ll want to remove the Hoot. Click on the select date feature to activate the calendar drop down.
You can then select the date you want the Hoot to remove itself on, and you’ll be able to keep an up-to-date board without worrying about manually removing Hoots.
