HootBoard’s CityGuide is a versatile tool that allows you to showcase a wide variety of locations, such as bus stations, cab services, wine tours, or any other place or service with a name and a location. Whether you’re highlighting public transit hubs, local transportation options, or unique experiences like wine tours, CityGuide makes it easy to add and manage these listings. Below, we explain how you can add such content to CityGuide.

Adding Locations to CityGuide

CityGuide supports the addition of any location-based listing, as long as it has a name and a valid address or coordinates. This flexibility allows you to include diverse points of interest like bus stations, cab services, or wine tour operators. To add these listings, you can use the following methods:

HootBoard Places: CityGuide automatically populates listings from HootBoard’s curated data sources, including Google, Yelp, and HootBoard’s own research. If a bus station, cab service, or wine tour is already included in these sources, it will appear in CityGuide after the monthly data sync.
Custom CSV Uploads: Admins can upload a CSV file containing details of the locations (e.g., name, address, and category for bus stations, cab services, or wine tours) in the required format. This is an effective way to manually add specific listings not covered by HootBoard Places.
Custom Integrations: Connect CityGuide to CRMs like SimpleView or Tempest to import listings directly. If your bus station, cab service, or wine tour operator is part of these CRM systems, their details will sync with CityGuide every few days.
Coming Soon: CityGuide PRO users (or those with CityGuide PRO included in their bundles) will soon have access to an admin portal. This portal will provide a user-friendly interface to add, edit, or remove listings, such as bus stations, cab services, or wine tours, directly within CityGuide.
