Board Visibility Settings and Hiding Boards from Search

HootBoard admins can control their the settings to make your board visible to search or hidden from search. When a board is hidden, it can not be found on searches on HootBoard.com or search engines like Google, Yahoo, etc. 

Here are the instructions and a screenshot on how to control your Board's Visibility:

1. Navigate to the Admin menu on your HootBoard

2. Click on Manage Board

3. Navigate to the Board Security Tab

4. Expand the Board Visibility and modify

• Search - Check this box if you would like your board to be hidden from search on HootBoard and search engines
• Location - If your board is searchable, you can add location(s) to your board to enable people to find your board through location search.
