The cameras are optional and not required for the kiosk’s core functionality. When included, they enable specific, value-added features such as:
Photo Booth / Selfie Mode – allows users to take fun, branded photos and email them to themselves.
"Know Your Visitor" Insights – a privacy-conscious, opt-in capability that provides venues with anonymous demographic and behavioral data. This can include information like estimated age range, mood, or group size, helping venues such as destinations, event spaces, hotels, hospitals, universities, or government offices better understand and serve their visitors.
General Audience Measurement – non-identifying metrics such as foot traffic counts by time of day, dwell time near the kiosk, and engagement rates. These insights help organizations understand usage patterns and optimize placement and messaging.
Importantly, the camera is only activated during specific interactions initiated by users (e.g., taking a selfie or participating in an optional survey). There is no passive video recording or surveillance.
