If you encounter a black screen when your HootBoard device is connected, please check to see if the computer connected to the display is turned on / not a sleep. If it is a HootBoard device, you can use the remote to turn on the PC.
If the problem still persists, check to make sure all the connections are properly made.
- Ensure the HDMI cable is connected from the HDMI port on your device to the HDMI input on your display.
- Check the corresponding HDMI Input is selected on the screen.
- Ensure the power cable is connected from the device to a power outlet.
If the device is already on, check to see if you see anything on the display. If you don't see anything or the device was powered off, restart the device as the problem may have originated from an issue with the original setup.
