- Connect the provided USB keyboard to your kiosk.
- On the keyboard, press CTRL + ALT + Right Arrow simultaneously.
- This will open a keypad on the screen to enter a numeric passcode. Please ask your support person for your screen OS passcode.
Important Note: Please note that this passcode cannot be entered via. the keyboard and you will have to enter it slowly using the touch interface. - Once you have successfully logged in, you shall see the following Administrator Dashboard.
- Open Terminal and type the following command and press ENTER to switch to Debian
cd && rm -rf .xsession
- Once done, close the terminal and hit Reboot. The system should now load in the Debian Desktop Environment.
Once you're in the Debian Environment, look for the top left corner, where you'll find an Activities menu, you can click on that to bring up the side dock, select the last option, with the three dots matrix icon to bring up an interface, where you can search for the settings app.
Open the settings app to find the various Operating System specific options, that you would like to tinker.
Switching back from Debian to HBOS.
- Open terminal and type the following command and press ENTER
cd && echo exec openbox-session > .xsession
Reboot and the system should now automatically go into HBOS
