Event Calendar Widget Location & Functionality

The event calendar widget automatically highlights the next upcoming event on your Hootboard and displays it as shown below in interactive mode:

If a users taps on the widget, it will load up a calendar view of all event hoots that are on your board. End users can tap into any of these hoots for more details from the calendar. Also, note you can have the calendar be a stand alone screen app.

Adding Posts to the Calendar

In order to have a hoot show on the calendar you must select the event category when creating the post and add the required event details. Refer to this article on how to create an event hoot.

Calendar Settings

At the moment the calendar defaults to a week view and in the near future you will have the ability to change it to day or month view. Contact your account manager if you would like to change this setting.
