The ScreenGroups feature provides a comprehensive solution for organizing and managing multiple screens within your HootBoard. It allows you to create, update, and manage groups to simplify screen management.
Manage Screen Groups
You can create, view, and manage all your groups from here:
- Login to your HootBoard account.
- Navigate to the Admin Menu -> Screens -> Screen Groups
Updating or Deleting a ScreenGroup
- To update: From the list of screen groups, find the one you wish to change and click the Edit (or pencil) icon. You can then rename the group or update its description.
- To delete: Click the Delete (or trash) icon next to the group name. This will remove the group, but it will not delete the screens that were in it.
Assigning Screens to Groups
- Login to your HootBoard account.
- Navigate to the Admin Menu -> Screens -> Your Screen IDs in your HootBoard.
- Find the screen you wish to configure and click on the Edit button.
- Click on the Select screen groups dropdown.
- Select the groups from the dropdown.
- Click Save to apply the changes to the screen.
- NOTE: You can also create groups from the dropdown itself. Just type a name into the input and click on the "Create" button when prompted.

This grouping system is laying the foundation for upcoming features. In the future, you will be able to use groups for:
- Advertising: Manging your inventory.
- Filtered Analytics: Filtering your analytics data by group.
