How to create an Event hoot

In order to have a hoot show up on the calendar, it must be posted as an event category. 

Once you select the event category, different fields will be available to put in for event information:

Here is some more about the current event details you can add to posts:

• Event Start/End Date/Time - Add the start and/or end info for your event
• Recurring Event - add rules for recurring events.
• Free Event - Mark the hoot as a free event
• Show only on calendar - If this is checked, the hoot will only show pn the calendar.
