How to set up HootBoard Digital Signage using FireOS Devices with autoboot.

Install and set up the HootBoardScreens app on your television.

To get your digital signage up and running, follow these steps.

• Search for HootBoard Digital Signage Player on the AppStore to download and install it.

• Once installed, open the app to begin using it.
  
  

• You will see a text field asking you to provide a screen ID (to create your screen ID log on to your HootBoard and go to Screens >> Screen Setup >> Digital Signage).

• Enter the screen ID of the screen that needs to be set up and press submit.

• You should now see the screen's content on your digital display (television).

• If not, simply close and relaunch the app. We will remember the screen ID for you.

From here, you are ready to go!

Set the HootBoardScreens app to auto-launch on device reboot.

For this, we need to install another app from the AppStore. It will give you the added convenience of not having to manually open the app every time we reboot the device, ultimately saving us valuable time.

• Search for Launch on Boot on the AppStore to download and install it.

• Once you have completed the installation, open the app. Here you will be greeted with a quick tutorial; however, if you wish to move on, you can bypass this guide. But once the tutorial is complete, you can navigate through the app and begin using it to its full potential.

• You can now enable this app by sliding the first toggle.

• Also, enable the toggle that says Launch when the device wakes up? (This is important)

• Now press the SELECT APP button and choose the HootBoardScreens app.

• You should see your selected app under the button SELECT APP.

• You can now press the TEST button below to test and see if everything works as expected.

• Now restart your television, and you will see that the HootBoardScreens app has launched automatically.
